Fantasy Theatre for Children operates as both a children's
theatre production company and a theatre school in Winnipeg, Manitoba,
Canada. Founded in 1981 by Artistic
Director Tony Frost, FTC is proud to be Winnipeg's oldest
children's theatre.

Fantasy Theatre for Children (FTC)

... operates 12 months each year, presenting shows that appeal to young
and old alike. It is famous for classic stories and fairy tales such as
"Beauty & The Beast", "Cinderella",
and "Charlotte's Web".
Fantasy Theatre for Children is one of the few theatres that
gives local talent a place to apply their skills with practical
application in all areas of the theatre.

The Theatre School (TTS)

... is a performance-oriented school for those aged seven to seventy.
Students in the school have a very high profile in film, television, and
stage, with a high level of excellence well-recognised across Canada.

| ... is an adult-theatre company within Fantasy
Theatre for Children, which aims to produce material of substantial
quality for general & mature audiences.
Past productions include such classics as Shakespearean plays, Mary
Shelley's "Frankenstein" and Abbott & Costello sketch
comedy.

Teachers and Directors
All teachers and directors at Fantasy Theatre for Children, The
Theatre School, and G.D. Productions are
dedicated to giving their students & actors the most professional situation
possible. They have studied theatre and have performed as well as directed.
Our company is dedicated to giving people an opportunity to develop their
chosen skills in acting, stage management, teaching, directing, or any other
area of the theatre they wish to pursue.

Each season, Fantasy Theatre for Children has had a cast of
volunteers from all walks of life, crossing boundaries of race, creed and
colour. This is the backbone of our organisation both onstage and off, and
