FTC 2010/11 Season

Fantasy Theatre for Children has begun announcing the line-up of shows for its thirtieth regular season, as published below. Tickets for all 2010/11 productions are now on sale!

Unless otherwise noted, all performances take place at the Forrest Nickerson Theatre (located inside the Deaf Centre Manitoba at 285 Pembina Highway).

This musical play is filled with toe tapping songs, and shows that good will always win over evil.
 
The King has just bought the castle and is looking for a good chess partner; Gus the ghost is looking for the lost fortune and is a good chess player; the Princess wants to be happy; Prince Cadwallader wants to the richer, and the Aunts just want to entertain. All works out well in the end, with the help of the audience.

Featuring sequences of creative moment, dialogue, and prop comedy, FTC's production of "The Stolen Prince" was a hit of the 1999 Winnipeg Fringe Festival.
 
This charming story of mistaken identity comes from the Far East and is told in the Oriental style, with a Chorus, and a Property Man who changes sets before the eyes of the audience in a most comedic way.
 
It tells the gentle story of a poor family, a duck, the Royal fish, and twins born to the Royal household.
